In this short introductory video, I explain my bodywork process, how to begin safely with a soft prop of your choice.  If you have any concerns or doubts, please reach out to me for a free consultation.  I give a short example of how fascial decompression works, how it's important to first calm the nervous system down when in high states of pain or have experienced a trauma.  I show the complications with my hypermobile shoulder as an example of how fascial decompression works.

Hi!  I'm Mel Gurry, Welcome to Soul Integration.org where "you bring the pain, and I'll bring the light" the concept being that I will be sharing as much of my own wisdom through guided meditation, energy healing, bodywork and movement therapy, to help you find your own Healer within!

 

This page will offer short introductory videos on a variety of approaches to calm your nervous system and lower your tension, pain, stress.  Videos allow you to begin in bed, laying down, sitting up or standing, to give you options depending on your day and condition.  

 

 

 

We begin with learning how to breath diaphragmatically - critical for overall health.  When we breathe diaphragmatically we turn on our internal heat - our kundalini fire - which heats up the whole body.  When we have laxity in the connective tissues, we often tighten our body, have increased tension and pain in attempts to find stability and overcome injuries, surgery, and more.  This can cause us to hold our breath, become a chest breather.  If we are not breathing fully, from the diaphragm, we can become frozen, stiff, increase inflammation, our fascia can become restricted, dehydrated and we lose the fascial glide, all of which can lead to pain, tears, injury. 

Soul Integration Healing Method works to help you connect to the power to heal, your Soul light, or Higher Self and Healing Guides.  If we invoke for this connection, we can set our intension while giving ourselves the time and love we need to heal in whatever way we can.  Breathing diaphragmatically, we turn on the internal fire, the kundalini, creating a powerful healing tool or "divine elixir" to whatever area of focus - healing all systems: digestive & excretory, circulatory, nervous, glandular, muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular,  and lymphatic.  We can heal injury/surgery sites, fascial scars, tears, adhesions or restrictions, negative fascial seals holding us out of alignment and much much more!

As you practice the unique combination of Soul Integration Healing Method, Bodywork - Fascial Decompression using a soft prop, rolled towel or block buddy/wooden bamboo block, Meditation, Movement Therapy, you will discover your own inner Truth and your own inner power to heal.  When you work on your fascia, you will begin to read your body's health in a new way.  You start to feel what is causing the pain and release it.  We never know how much healing we can achieve, we can only set our intention and become the observer of the process.  If you need more and you want to reach out, and work one on one, I'm happy to do so.   My goal is to offer as much of my own wisdom and free content so you're not spending thousands of dollars.

PRECAUTIONS:

If you have cervical instability, follow the instructions to move within your 

range.  If you are concerned keep your head aligned, in your brace if needed.

 

BEFORE YOU BEGIN BODYWORK

Before you begin, make sure you have on hand a variety of props to explore:  A variety of rolled towel sizes (even a hand towel), rolled dowel, a variety of pillows.  You will be laying on top of a rolled towel, pillow, or starting directly on the floor or mattress may be best for you.  Listen to your body, if you are unable to hold yourself in position then take a break, reach out for assistance, it can take time to find what will work for you.  We are all unique!  Take care of yourself in this process and give your body the attention and love it is asking for!

How to get on and off the prop of choice properly.  

This is a short video teaching the first position in block therapy - you can use a rolled towel, dowel or the block buddy.

PRECAUTIONS:  If you have neck and shoulder issues, you may want to begin laying on your back with a prop on your belly.  You can also have a pillow under your chest to help support your upper body.

Self healing meditation guides you on the proper steps to activate your diaphragmatic breathing using a prop to stimulate your proprioception at the belly area - where your breath should come from.

You can practice this meditation sitting upright or while laying down.  The goal is to find a way to "let go" of inner tension, stress, pain and bring you into a state of centeredness.  Calming the emotions and nervous system before movement.  14 minutes of relaxation!!

Combining Block Therapy with Energy Healing in this series of videos helps you to safely release and heal your fascia and whole body for greater wellness.

There are two rules in Block Therapy:

1) Your breathe is your guide - if anything is too painful that it takes your natural breath away, you need to find a way to ease up on the intensity of your blocking tool - the Block Buddy, a towel, soft ball, or simply lay on the floor or mattress.

2) We will stay in each position for a minimum of 3 minutes to effectively melt the adhesions and restrictions in the fascia.

Heal Your Hypermobile Posture: Anterior Pelvis & Hyperextended Knees

This is the first paid class in the series -$22 one time fee.  The class is just under 1 hour.  Here we combine Block Therapy, Soul Integration Healing Method and Isometric Exercise to assist in allowing the body to come into balance.

Guided class brings you through 3 key positions decompressing the fascia:  Hip Flexor, Upper Quad, Back of the Knee
We then add 3 key isometric movements to bring us back into proper alignment and strengthen.

inner core light activation

This standing meditation offers a fast method to find your proper postural alignment by anchoring your feet and activating the arches together with energy and chakral intension.  

You can add a stretchy band, magic circle at your ankles to help give that proprioception and feedback.  This helps if you have knocked knees or collapse into the pelvis.  

Included - Flushing the nervous system and any pain, over sensitization of pain, calming the nervous system down before movement.
